Level 1
Students can discuss their ideas about the shape, colour, size, and distance from Earth of the Sun, planets, and stars.
Students can explore repeating environmental patterns associated with the Earth, Sun, and Moon, for example, night and day, seasons, and tides.
Level 2
Students can explore and demonstrate the shape, colour, size, and distance from Earth of the Sun, the Moon, and the planets of our solar system.
Students can observe and record environmental patterns associated with the Earth, Sun, and Moon, for example, night and day, phases of the Moon, seasons, and tides.
The Arts (Drama): Select and develop a series of scenes to examine an environmental issue in the community.
