Researching technology that can affect physical and chemical change in the disposal or recycling of waste.
Level 4
Investigating the effect of the physical and chemical properties of substances on people and the environment. Explaining how rates of reaction can be changed to help the environment.
Be able to investigate the positive and negative aspects of adding chemicals to materials.
Be able to explore how members of the class react to certain foods, discuss the findings, and suggest possible links between these foods and certain effects on people.
Technology: Describe and identify the positive and negative effects of some instances of technologies on people’s lives and the environment eg. the effects of fast ferries on shorelines.
